1. What is Modify?
Modify is a simple and efficient tool designed to help you make bulk edits to your Shopify store products. It allows you to easily update product attributes such as prices and titles all at once, eliminating the need for endless clicking!

2. How do I create a new edit job?
To create a new edit job, click on the “New Modify” button and follow the steps to configure your edits. Once you’ve set up your changes, you can either apply them immediately or schedule them for a later time.

3. Can I preview my edits before applying them?
Yes, you can! Our app allows you to preview the changes you’re about to make before applying them. Once you filter the products and set the edits (such as updating prices or titles), a detailed preview is displayed. You will see exactly which products are being modified, along with the specific changes. This way, you can review and ensure everything is correct before confirming the edits.

4. How do I roll back an edit job?
To roll back an edit, go to the “Edit History” table, find the job you want to revert, and click on the three dots under the Action column. Select “Revert” to undo the changes and restore the original values.

5. How does Smart Revert work?
Smart Revert allows you to schedule your edits to automatically revert to their original values at a specific time. You can configure this during Step 3 of finalizing your edit job. Simply check the box labeled “Revert to the original” and choose the date and time for the rollback. This ensures that your edits will automatically revert to their original state once your promotion or sale ends, allowing for smooth transitions and precise control over your campaigns.

6. Can I save my changes as a draft before publishing them?
Yes! You can save your changes as a draft before publishing. This allows you to review and finalize them whenever you’re ready.

7. How do I manage scheduled edits?
To manage scheduled edits, go to the “Edit History” table and click on the three dots under the Action column. Here, you can edit, duplicate or delete any scheduled jobs.

8. How do I know if my edit job was successful?
You can check the status of your edit jobs in the “Edit History” table. Just go to the dashboard page to see the status of each task in the edit history table (such as “QUEUED” or “DONE”).
